Sorel is a mottled jacquard fabric with a high cotton content of 85%. The fabric is woven from different threads, which gives it a unique irregular look familiar from Coco Chanel's tweed suits. The name is inspired by Cécile Sorel, a customer of Coco Chanel in the 1920s.
